Introduction To AS Media Coursework

For my AS media coursework i have been asked to create a music magazine. The magazine must include a front cover, content page and a double page spread of band or artist. I will research different types of music and music magazines, such as Kerrang, Vibe and top of the pops. i will be analyising these magazines and compairing them to see what i could use when making my own magazine.

For my magazine i will produce all the pictures myself. I must not feature in any of these pictures and must not use existing pictures.  

   I will be looking into a range of different genres before desiding my magazine. the genres that i will be looking at are: 

• Indie
• Pop  
• Rap
• Classic Rock

Once I have done this i will go onto analysing two music front covers of music magazines.
